How Does EnviroCure-Felt Work
The patent pending EnviroCure-Felt coating system utilizes a unique combination of polymer materials to produce a flexible membrane for CIPP liners. Unlike traditional CIPP coatings, EnviroCure-Felt creates an impermeable styrene barrier over the entire liner length that does not allow styrene molecules to diffuse through the coating. During the tube transport to the job site, when the ends of the liners are sealed, styrene emissions are contained within the CIPP tubes and do not diffuse into the airspace of the truck. This minimizes the residual styrene migration into the reefer box, minimizing the closed system’s styrene concentration and enhances the installation crew safety.
